Institut Sainte-Julie in Marche-en-Famenne (Belgium) is currently recruiting a science teacher with the ability to teach the subject in English using the CLIL methodology. The position is for 15 periods a week in the lower secondary cycle.
Profile
- Native English speaker or thorough knowledge of the teaching language.
- Either holder of a Belgian bachelor’s degree from a higher education institution or a bachelor’s degree recognized by Belgian authorities
- Or holder of a foreign degree certifying professional teaching qualifications.
Mission
- Ensure the implementation of the immersion teaching project initiated at Institut Sainte-Julie since September 2004, based on the CLIL / EMILE educational concept.
- Provide educational support for students in science lessons.
- Actively collaborate with the teaching team, in particular the English teacher (target language).
- Participate in activities related to immersion learning.
- Support each student in developing their skills.
